You can apply to be a 2011 Volunteer if: The idea of a FREE FESTIVAL WEEKEND TICKET & FREE CAMPING appeals to you PLUS Free Festival T-Shirt, Tea, Coffee & Cold Refreshments PLUS Special Rates for other Festival Events throughout the year PLUS You want to be part of a GREAT TEAM that makes it all happen and is COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE OF THE FESTIVAL AND FINALLY.... You want to be entered into the Festival Volunteer *** PRIZE DRAW *** All this in exchange for 12 hours of your help over the festival weekend Each year the festival's success depends on the support of over 120 volunteers and we are always looking for new people to get involved. It is a great way to meet new people, have fun and provide a friendly service to all our festival visitors and artists. Applications forms for the 2011 Festival will be made available in due course, so keep an eye out for it appearing.
The majority of our volunteers work as event stewards but we also look for help with the following: Stewarding at Children's and Youth activities (Enhanced CRB check required) Box office / Information desk Volunteer co-ordination Merchandising sales Artist Liaison Stage Management Taskforce (Helping with equipment set-up and health & safety) Volunteer minibus driver & van driver (valid licence required) Traffic duties Campsite stewarding Runners (general tasks and liaison between venues) In addition, from April onwards we are always grateful for any help in our office with various administration and box office duties so if you can spare a few hours a week, we would be delighted to hear from you.
